It is believed that the American lobby group, Safari Club International (SCI) is trying to pressure Air Canada (and perhaps other airlines) to reverse the August 2015 decision to ban the transportation of hunting trophies.
The above petition seeks to reinforce the message that the existing ban remains popular among ‘regular’ Air Canada clients and airline clients in general.
At IWB, we applaud and hope that the other airlines currently banning the transportation of hunting trophies stand firm – Virgin, Delta, United Airlines, American Airlines, Air France, KLM, Iberia, IAG Cargo, Singapore Airlines, Qantas, South African Airways, Emirates, Lufthansa and British Airways.
Please consider adding you signature to support the Air Canada petition and send a message to all the other airlines that the ban is popular and should remain.
Please let us know if you hear that other airlines are being put under pressure to rescind.
Thank you from IWB.
