Our Inspiration
Lastly, you might ask “what was the inspiration to develop IWB, was it Cecil?”
The IWB’s answer would be ‘Absolutely.’ As Elsa the lion inspired the Born Free Foundation to form over 30 years ago, Cecil has been IWB’s inspiration to strive to protect his pride of lions, his species and all the other vulnerable species in the World’s Animal Kingdom:
“His [Cecil’s] death, however, is an embarrassment to us all – an act far more senseless and brutal than any nature could ever conceive.”
